October is Self Practice Month
We are challenging all our clients at Vital Pilates to practice Pilates for 10-30 minutes every day during the month of October.
Home exercise sheets will be given out the week before the challenge to help you get started and also a progress log for you to keep track of your practice. You don’t need any equipment to join in, so everyone who would like to participate can.
If you have a mat and you can find some quiet time to practice for 30 minutes daily that would be great, but if you can only fit in 10 minutes a day then that’s okay too. Your practice can be done anywhere that you can find a little time. You could do some Pilates in standing, a few roll downs and a stretch when you have just got out of the shower, or when sitting at your desk at work you could do a few shoulder rolls and an upper back stretch, wherever you can fit it in. Being consistent is more important than the length of time spent practicing.
Every week your teacher will check in to see how you are getting on, sharing how they are getting on themselves and will be watching to see if there are any changes/improvements in your practice.
Prizes and certificates will be awarded at the end.
